Money Heist: Plot Summary

Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) centers on ‘professional criminal mastermind’ El Professor (played by Alvaro Morte) who has put together a group of thieves with the intention of carrying out a perfect heist.

 

His plan? To get them to lock themselves, with hostages, in the Royal Mint of Spain and take home 2.4 billion euros in the course of things – while he watches them from afar and manipulates the cops into keeping away from the building.

 

The whole thing takes place over the course of 11 days – the time it will take the thieves to print those Euros they’re after – but can they pull it off before the cops close in? Let’s just say it doesn’t go quite according to plan – but we can’t give away any more than that.
